The owner of Texas-based “The Big Chop Salon” brings her Midwest flair to add more heat to the south specializing in precision cuts and meticulous short hair designs.
Her free spirit and creativity render some of the most groundbreaking hairstyles, but the ball does not stop there. Harris founded and built the brand Excentre’ Designs over 10 years ago after she taught herself to sew. Starting in the basement of her home Excentre’ Designs has become a household name to many. Darshel’s design esthetic is a mix of eclectic style and modern flair marrying bold prints and sleek cuts resulting in incomparable custom pieces.
The brand has taken on a mind of its own worn by popular celebrities, used in high fashion editorials, and most relatable worn by the everyday woman. Darshel’s portfolio can't be denied in beauty nor fashion although if you ask the quiet Gemini she would humbly say her biggest accomplishment is being a mother and wife one thing for sure, She was born to create and has broken the mold in whatever industry she chooses to be apart of.
